I'll always remember the laughter. He always had a good joke to tell a funny card, or a story to tell. His quick wit could bring joy and laughter to the worst of situations. He was always there to share the good times and the bad. Rest in sweet peace Johnny Lindsey. There's a good party going on in heaven right now!
When Johnnie and I were teenagers, he frequently came to Scottsboro for us to hang out together and look for something exciting to do. At that time in your life everything can be exciting. He would sometimes bring others with him such as Johnnie Rudder, Bill Hall and David Smith. The girls always welcomed the out of town boys.
Johnnie was a dear friend with a wonderful, caring personality. He also had a great family. I am so glad our paths crossed.
