My father, Floyd Cosby, worked for Roy for many many years. we lived side by side for a long time. I am Christine Cosby Weeks. My father and mother are no longer living and neither is my brother James (Jimmy) Cosby. I have very fond memories of the family. I know I worked with one of Roy's daughters-in-law but just can't remember her name. Dot you know I thought the world of you. You always was nice and helpful with Jim and me.
I remember telling Mr. Perkins that new televisions did not have to be unplug every single night, and he and Ms. Dot, answering me that if they let the TV plugged in all night, it would fry. So every morning, I just plug the tv and turn it on. Mr. Perkins was always very nice and sweet. Mr Perkins you will be missed.
Mr. Perkins was such a good man! I knew him for over 40 years. He was always so nice to me. And I will always think the world of him and never forget him! RIP SIR!!! THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS BEING SO KIND TO ME! MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH ALL OF HIS FAMILY. 😥😥😥🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Roy was one of my spiritual heroes! He gave me my first job cand by his example, taught me much about connecting with others. Roy was a people person, had a great sense of humor and it was a joy to be around. He love God, his family, and anyone else who crossed his path. I loved Roy & one day I will see him again!
Mr. Perkins made an impression on me as a child of what a Christian man was supposed to be. I remember his love for his family and his church.
From my early childhood, Roy Perkins had a great impact not only on my life, but the lives of my family. Always greeted with a smile, and I will always remember his love for the Lord. Such a great man, spiritual leader, father, husband and friend who is now worshipping at the feet of Jesus!
