Mom loved working at the hospital. She was dedicated and I am so proud of her. Thank you to her amazing co-workers. Nurses have a strange bond. I am so glad that Mom was surrounded by such caring, loyal, and intelligent friends. The 4th floor nurses station was where mom called home. Mom did what she loved and was repaid with lifelong friends and people who she loved and loved her back.
Vickie, thank you for the beautiful flowers. You are such an amazing friend, I know I can always come to you when I need strength. Thanks to all of you. Got to speak with Becky Cloud, Martha and I both thought... no wonder she was mom's good friend in school (I'm sure you know what I mean). Again, thanks to all mom's friends.
I just happened upon this through, I guess, a mutual friend and wanted to share a message for this wonderful woman's family! Miss Tully precepted me in 2004 at Highlands and I owe a lot of how I handled my floor patients to her. She was intelligent and incite full and helped break in this little 20 year old nurse at the time. I have never forgotten her or the time we spent together that semester.
I first met Tully almost 18 years ago when I started working at the hospital. She was always a hard worker who did her best to give great care to her patients even in the later times when she could barely breathe herself. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She had such a great sense of humor. She loved her family so much. She will be greatly missed. Prayers for her family and friends.
