I have had the pleasure of knowing, really knowing you and George for the last several years, in that time, I've never known a love as loving as yours. Godbless the times you and George spent with me and my family. They were times that we will always cherrish. George will always live in our hearts.

Experiencing the death of a husband is so personal that very few of us can understand the grief involved. Perhaps it will help to ease your sadness if you know that GEORGE will be greatly missed by all of his friends and co-workers, and that we all share in your sadness.
George was one of the most charming and warmest men I have ever known, I will never forget him. My love is with you. He was the best boss ever, my "big buddy", I'll miss his voice calling me "hey, little buddy"

George is an important part of my memories of the growing-up years. I never had an opportunity to see George after we both graduated and left the Charleston area. I'm so glad I got a chance to talk to him briefly after finding him on Facebook last year. I'll never forget how Charlie Ann and my mother would grab the wrong boy as he and my brother ran by when everyone would be standing around and talking after evening services at Paynes. When they were in elementary school they dressed similar, had the same haircut, and bore a general resemblance and they thought it was funny when this happened.
The many people touched by his life are a wonderful tribute to him and hopefully you can find some comfort in this.

My heart is breaking for each one of you. I know that George Moore Barton was one of God's earth angels. He had such a kind heart and a gentle spirit. He was one of "the Best" young men to ever come out of Tallahatchie County. I have such fond memories of our childhood. George was always there for me and many others. It makes me so proud to call him cousin and friend. We will all miss him so much.
