Aunt Frances made the best peanut butter fudge you've ever tasted and a chocolate cake with divinity icing that somehow became known as "the liver". If anyone knows where that name came from I'd love to hear it. I have many fond memories of riding around in Nana Pollys Le Sabre with Aunt Fran, and eating Hardee's fried chicken after church. Aunt Frances also had a beautiful voice and always sang harmony in the church choir. She was always humming and she always had that bright red lipstick. The first thing she'd do every time she got in the car was pull that mirror down and reapply her lipstick. She was very skilled at crochet and needlepoint and made beautiful handmade Christmas ornaments. She knew just about everything about Bridgeport and I consulted her often about old buildings or businesses or people. She was a bit of a fashionista and always wore nice matching sets, jewelry, and nice handbags. She loved her family dearly and we loved her.
