I was a newcomer to the family when I married June's cousin, Samuel Myers 10 years ago. Early in our marriage Sam and I along with Richard and Sandy Myers planned a cruise. On route to the ship we stopped for a visit with Aunt June. It was my first time to meet Aunt June, but she treated me as though she'd known me just as long as she had Sam, Richard and Sandy. She was a lovely hostess and although she was experiencing some health issues, she was thrilled about our visit. She shared many stories of her past cruises and how much she loved getting all dressed up for the cruise ship dinners. She had an upright piano in her home in FL and she encouraged Sandy to play a few tunes. Sandy did so and Aunt June went on and on about how much she enjoyed hearing the piano played. As the newest member of the cousin family my life was blessed by this lovely lady. With her infectious laugh and heart warming smile, warmth and genuineness radiated from her heart spreading love to all around her. May she rest now in the presence of the Holy Father.
