Agnes Hampton Foster, 84 of Chattanooga, TN died October 25, 2010 at Memorial Hospital. Anges Burth Ann was the daughter of the late Wade and Effie Florene Seay Hampton born September 5, 1926 in Yucca, AL. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Red Bank, TN. Agnes had worked at Roper Corp. as a punch press operator.
Besides her parents, Agnes was preceded in death by her husbands Luther Jasper "Jay" Shrader and James Leonard Foster; siblings: Bertha Sanders, Myrtle Hawes, Florence Virginia Chisenhall, Nannie Kate Wilson, LilaJean Myers, and Winford "Wimp" Hampton.
Survivors include her children: Gary (Gail) Shrader of Auburndale, FL, Judy (Randy) Tate of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren: Theresa (Authur) Rhoden, Tabitha (Chris) Mitchell, Tonya (Jamie) Wilkey, Tamara (Mikel) Fairfax, Allyson (Brian) Hancock, Garrett (Jessica) Shrader, and Jeremy Shrader; 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday 4-8 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. The funeral will be Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 2 PM CDT at the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Estle Sanders and Dr. David McNabb. Interment will be at the Sterne Cemetery in Stevenson, AL. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com.
