Ms. Agnes Jeanette Jordan's Obituary
Agnes Jeanette Case Jordan, age 78 of Scottsboro, AL, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. She was a member of Ridgedale Baptist Church. Ms. Jordan is survived by her daughters, Robin (J.L.) Akins and Kelly Jordan; grandchildren, Selina Pittman (DeRon Decker), Celeste (Roger) Patteson, and Jermiah Akins; great-grandchildren, Jillian Pittman, Emmitt and Avett Patteson; brother, Phillip Case; and dear friends, Louis & Donna Pace, and Kenneth & Peggy James. Ms. Jordan is preceded in death by her husband, Mearl Jackson Jordan; parents, Claude and Gracie Smith Case; and brothers, Paul and Jerry Case. Visitation will be Thursday, January 21 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, and the funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM at the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro. Bro. Kenneth James will officiate and burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family would like to say “Thank you” to Alacare Hospice for all they have done in the care for Ms. Jordan.
