Albert Coleman, 88 of Spring Grove, IL formerly of Stevenson, AL, died January 17, 2009 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. He had worked as a construction carpenter and painter and was a WWII U. S. Army Veteran.
Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by his wife Eliza Everlyn Rice Coleman.
He is survived by his children: Doris Coleman, Thomas "Tommy" Coleman, Jesse Coleman, Barbara Miller, Betty Crabtree, Bertha Stephens; step-son Calvin Bertholomey all of Illinois; 21 Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren; and other relatives.
The funeral service will be Thursday, January 22, at 2 PM CST at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. Visitation will be the same day beginning at 10 AM CST. Burial will be at Matthews Cemetery in Stevenson, AL.
