Mr. Alvin Baker's Obituary
Alvin Baker, age 68 of Toney, AL, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Huntsville Hospital. He worked in the parts department at Lynn Layton Chevrolet for many years, and was also an Army veteran who served in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Page Baker; stepson, Matthew McCormack; grandchildren, Emily, Jordan, Trent, Alexus, Shelton, and Skyler McCormack; brothers, Johnny Baker and Leroy Baker; sisters, Ruby Henegar and Betty McDaniel; as well as several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vener and Hettie Baker; brothers, Henry J. Baker, William M. Baker, Robert R. Baker, James L. Baker, Charlie E. Baker; and stepson, Tim Baker.
Visitation for Mr. Baker will be Saturday, December 26, 2015 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro. The funeral service will be Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. Condolences may be made at www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
