Alvin LeRoy Paschal, 58 of Bridgeport, AL, died September 14, 2017 in Chattanooga, TN. Alvin is the son of Oscar Thomas and Betty Jean Kirby Paschal, Jr. born June 27, 1959 in Jacksonville, FL. Mr. Paschal was an automobile mechanic and truck driver.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years Sarah Ann Elleman Paschal; parents Oscar and Betty Paschal, Jr. of Dutton, AL; sons: Alvin DeWayne (Kayla) Paschal of Dutton, Benny Paul Paschal of Chattanooga, TN, Ronald Eugene Scott of Chattanooga, TN, James Dale (Amy) Scott of Russellville, KY, Freeman Wayne (Vickie) Scott of Stevenson, AL; sister Sandra Elkins of Dutton, AL; brother-in-law Walter (Elsie) Elleman; 19 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
Mr. Paschal was preceded in death by grandparents Oscar Thomas and Rebecca Paschal, Sr., Guy and Willie Mae Kirby; brothers Thomas Eugene Paschal and Billy Wayne Paschal; brother-in-law Cyrus James Elleman and sister-in-law Lillian Elleman Pearson.
Visitation will be Monday 11 AM ~ 6 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. The Celebration of Life Service will be Monday, September 18, at 6 PM CDT in the funeral home chapel.
