Ann Hall Cravens, 93, a resident of Rosewood Manor in Scottsboro, AL and formerly of Arlington, VA, died November 8, 2010 at Cumberland Health and Rehabilitation in Bridgeport, AL.
Ann was the daughter of the late Robert Alexander and Frances Mae Lusk Hall, born December 30, 1916 in Larkinsville, Alabama. Ann worked as a statistician for the Dept. of Commerce in Washington, DC, and also worked with the Atomic Energy Commission in Oakridge, TN. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Arlington, VA and of the Methodist faith.
Besides her parents, Mrs. Cravens was preceded in death by her husband Robert Harold Cravens; brothers: R. Elmer Hall, Floyd Hall and Neuman Hall; sisters: Fern H. Stewart, Fannie Mae H. Hughes, Gladys H. Brown and Euphie H. Haskew; and a special nephew Thomas F. Brown, Jr.
Ann is survived by her sister Bessie H. (Buford) Burrows of Bridgeport, AL and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 10 from 11 AM- 1 PM CT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. The funeral service will be at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel officiated by Dr. Jim Thomas. Interment will be at the Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, TN. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
