Mary Ann Parton Crabtree, 87 of Stevenson, AL, died May 27, 2011 at Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro, AL. She had been a resident of Cumberland Health and Rehabilitation. Mary Ann was the daughter of the late Dan and Alice Rudder Parton born September 8, 1923 in Stevenson, Alabama. She had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at North Jackson Hospital.
Besides her parents, Mrs. Crabtree was preceded by her husband Dan Cameron "D.C." Crabtree; son Dan Cameron "Danny" Crabtree, Jr.; brothers: James, Fred and Frank Parton
Survivors include her son James Raymond "Jimmy" Crabtree of Stevenson, AL; granddaughters: Kimberly George of Mobile, AL and Kristen Crabtree of Birmingham, AL.
Visitation will be Sunday, 5-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson. The funeral will be Monday, May 30, at 11 AM CDT at the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Gary Tubb. Interment will be at the Stevenson City Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
