Annie Jewel Allison's Obituary
Annie Jewel Tucker Allison, 72 of Bridgeport, AL, died October 12, 2017 at Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro, AL. Annie was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Ellen Fennell Tucker born May 31, 1945 in Hollywood, AL. She attended Carver High School and had worked as a seamstress at Bridgeport Mfg and Fulton Apparel.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years Franklin Allison, siblings: Walter, Billy, Charles, and Arthur Allison and Mary McCamey.
Survivors include her children: Sonia Allison Young of Manchester, TN, Jean Allison of Bridgeport, Tara Allison Hamburg of LA, Timothy Allison of Bridgeport; grandchildren: Tasha Allison, Jeanitta Allison, Heather Allison, Desiree Young; 3 great-grandsons, 2 great-granddaughters; sisters: Dorothy Tucker, Joyce Davis, Emma Williamson and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The Viewing will be Monday, October 16, from 11 AM CDT until the Funeral Time beginning at 1 PM CDT at the First Missionary Baptist Church on Franklin Avenue in Bridgeport, AL officiated by Pastor Kenneth Simpson.
