Archie Richard Gilliam, 68 of Bellevue, WA died July 1, 2009 at Mirabella Nursing Home in Seattle, WA. He served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Gilliam was a Marketing Manager for Exxon Oil Co. and had owned several self-serve gas stations in Washington.
Archie was preceded in death by his parents Roland and Eva Lare Gilliam.
He is survived by his wife Virginia Long Gilliam of Bellevue, WA; brother and sister-in-law Roland and Lucena Bovent of NJ; nieces and nephews and other relatives.
The funeral service will be Sunday, July 5, at 2 PM CDT at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Bridgeport, AL officiated by Rev. George Maynor. Interment will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
