Arthur Henninger, 74 a life-long resident of Stevenson, AL died November 22, 2010 at Cumberland Health and Rehabilitation in Bridgeport, AL. James Arthur was the son of the late Ralph Loyd and Sue Grider Henninger born May 1, 1936 in Stevenson, AL. He was a Stevenson High School Class of 1955 Graduate and worked as a farmer all his life. Arthur was a member of the Edgefield Union Church and the Cattlemen's Association.
Besides his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by his sister Mary Elizabeth Felts.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years Bonnie Ruth Wright Henninger; step-son Terry (Sharon) Allison; step-granddaughters: Haley (Chris) Thomas and Amy Allison; step-great-grandsons: Boone and Drake Thomas; his twin sister Eleanor Manna of Nashville, TN; brother Kenneth (Ann) Henninger all of Stevenson, AL.
The family will receive friends Tuesday 5-9 PM CT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will be Wednesday, November 24, at 11 AM CT at the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Bill Stone and Rev. Gary Tubb. Interment will be at the Stevenson City Cemetery.
