Arthur Hutchins, 88 of Stevenson, AL, died February 6, 2013 at Shepherd's Cove Hospice of Marshall County in Albertville, AL to be with his Lord and Savior. Arthur was the son of the late Elmer and Ola Lee Eldridge Hutchins born January 3, 1925 in Stevenson, Alabama. He retired from TVA Widows Creek Steamplant after 38 years of dedicated service and was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Besides his parents, Mr. Hutchins was preceded in death by his wives: Melva Lee Jordan Hutchins and Rosa Lee Smith Hutchins; one son Arthur Ray Hutchins.
Survivors include his sons: Thomas (Rena) Hutchins, Melvin (Cathy) Hutchins all of Stevenson, Walter (Imogene) Hutchins of Rogersville, TN; sisters: Cassie McDonald of Stevenson, Sallie McMillian of South Pittsburg, TN; 10 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The wake will be 12 noon Saturday, February 9, at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL followed by the funeral service beginning at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in the Stevenson Community Cemetery.
