Barney Bazel Brooks' Obituary
Barney Brooks, age 74 of Hollywood, AL, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Cloverdale Manor Nursing Home. He is survived by his brother, Curtis “Bo” Brooks of Hollywood; sister, Peggy Brooks Goza of Gadsden; sister-in-law, Betty Brooks of Bridgeport; nieces, Sommer Lea Goza, Kimberly Arnold Russell, and Deborah Arnold Mashburn; nephew, Kevin Wayne Brooks; as well as numerous friends, neighbors, and co-workers from Chrysler Auto. He is preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Altha Brooks, and his brother, Walter “Sonny” Brooks. Visitation for Mr. Brooks will be Tuesday, August 08, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro. The funeral service will be Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 1 pm at the funeral home chapel. Bro. Roy Venable and Bro. Donnie Hutchins will officiate and burial will follow at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be made at www.rudderfuneralhomes.com.
