Betsy Caperton Jeffery, 47 of Stevenson, AL died December 12, 2010 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.
Elizabeth Ruth "Betsy" is the daughter of the late James Hugh "Jimmy" and Barbara Ruth Grider Caperton born June 8, 1963 in Bridgeport, AL. Betsy was a graduate of Stevenson High School Class of 1981. She received two degrees from Northeast Alabama Community College and attended University of Alabama. Betsy had worked as an administrative assistant at Mead Paper Mill. She was a loving wife and daughter who loved life and adored her Boston Terrier Spenser.
Mrs. Jeffery was preceded in death by her father Jimmy Caperton; grandparents: James G. and Madge Caperton, Carl and Ruth Allen, Forrest Grider.
Survivors include her husband of 13 years Bryan Jeffery; mother Barbara Grider Caperton; step-sons Brandyn and Parker; aunts and cousins.
Visitation will be Monday 4-8 PM CT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral will be Tuesday, December 14, at 2 PM CT at the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Bill Stone followed by interment at Stevenson City Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
