Betty Lou Davis Draper, 65 of Scottsboro, AL, died June 25, 2013 at her home. Betty was the daughter of the late William Rube and Willie B. Wilkerson Davis born July 29, 1947 in Stevenson, AL. Betty was a 1965 Graduate of Stevenson High School. She was a registered nurse having worked at North Jackson Nursing Home. Betty was a member of Gonce Church of Christ.
Besides her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her brothers Albert Wilson "Billy" Stewart, Raymond Davis and twin sister Linda Sue Davis.
Survivors include her sons: Neil (Carrie) Houser of Scottsboro, AL, Chip (Shannon) Draper of Bridgeport, AL, Shane (Summer) Draper of Dutton, AL; grandchildren: Noah and Clayton Houser, Robby Draper, Hayden Cooper, Kelsey Draper, Bliss Draper, Breacia Draper, Sabon Draper; brother Richard Davis of Stevenson, AL, sisters: Carolyn Jackson of Nashville, TN, Kathleen Trusty of Stevenson, Shirley Bloodworth of Homewood, IL, Patsy Summers of Stevenson; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Thursday 4-8 PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The Funeral Service will be Friday, June 28, at 11 AM at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Cumberland Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
