Betty Raye Wilson Evans Tanner, 85 of Bridgeport, AL formerly of South Pittsburg, TN, died July 20, 2015 at Cumberland Health and Rehabilitation in Bridgeport. Betty was the daughter of the late King Dave and Minnie Louise Toney Wilson born September 15, 1929 in Bridgeport, AL. She was a Bridgeport High School graduate and had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Tri-City Clinic in South Pittsburg, TN.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: Ezra Ardway Evans and James M. Tanner; son Ezra Ardway Evans, Jr., daughter Mona Gaye Kinser; brother Arthur Wilson; sisters: Katherine Edwards and Dorothy Allison.
Survivors include her son Terry Ray Tanner; son-in-law Tom Kinser; grandchildren: Melissa (Tim) Tatum, Jeremy (Nicole) Jones, Katherine "Katie" Tanner, Courtney (Terje) Kristiansen, Sydney Kinser; great-grandchildren: Carter and Nolan Tatum, Evie Jo and Easton Jax Jones, Harper Kate and Holden Appleton.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July 23, at 11 AM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service time. Burial will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
