I am so very sorry to learn of the passing of one of my favorite childhood teachers. I had her in '77 & '78 at Scottsboro Jr High. Mrs. Hammer was respected by many. Love seeing all the pictures of her in the album. She was a beautiful lady.

I adored and loved both Hammer's. They bring a smile to my face. Those were the good days with hamburgers and Uncle Carlus and Aunt Bert's homemade ice cream.

Mrs. Hammer was such a special lady that I loved as my 5th grade teacher at Stevenson Elementary many years ago. She made learning fun for everyone. I will always remember how she made "Charlotte's Web" come to life when she read it to us after lunch each day.
