Billie Ruth Middleton Huckaba, 76 of Bridgeport, AL, died June 14, 2012 at Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro, AL. She was a resident at Highlands Health and Rehabilitation in Scottsboro. Billie was the daughter of the late Virgil and Mattie Steele Middleton born November 9, 1935 in Stevenson, AL. She was a member of Edgefield Baptist Church, had attended at Oak Grove Baptist Church in the past. Billie had worked as a sales clerk at Stevenson Drug Co., Lays 5&10, Bill's Dollar Store and Hammers in downtown Stevenson.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Franklin Huckaba, Jr.
Survivors include her sons Charles (Lola) Huckaba and Randy Huckaba of Bridgeport, AL; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Friday, 5-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will be Saturday, June 16, at 2 PM CDT at the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Don Jacobs and Rev. George Maynor. Interment will be in the Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood, AL. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com.
