Billy Rounsavall's Obituary
We celebrate the life of Billy Joe Rounsavall, age 84 of Scottsboro, Al who passed in his home
Wednesday, November 21st, 2012. He was surrounded by family and loved ones.
Joe has left a legacy which was rooted in Godly faith, love for his family and loyalty to his country.
He was a Korean War veteran who served proudly and nobly.
He was a husband to Opal, a father to Larry, Rick and Linda (Ronnie), grandfather to Lori, Chris (Candice), Brian,
Jordan (Lindsey), Josh, and Stacey. Joe recently was most proud of his newest great grandchild, Harper Grace.
Joe loved to farm and plant. Some of his grandchildren's most fond memories are of him on his tractor giving them rides after a long day of working in his garden.
Joe was a member and deacon of the Union Primitive Baptist Church in Woodville, Al. He was very close to his church family and enjoyed all the close relationships he had with each member.
Joe may be passed on to be with his heavenly father but he lives on through us who knew him, loved him and will miss him.
The Rounsavall family would like to thank Hospice of North Alabama, especially Amanda Reed who was
so loving and caring with Joe during the last days of his life.
In lieu of flowers donations, could be made in Joe's name to Union Primitive Baptist Church, c/o Larry Jones, 227 Rose Drive,
