Blanche McCutchen Tally's Obituary
Blanche McCutchen Tally, age 97 of Scottsboro, died peacefully on September 24, 2015 at Cumberland Health and Rehab. Ms. Tally was a long time member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Scottsboro as well as Daughters of American Revolution. She was preceded in death by her husband John B. Tally, and her parents George Lee and Lena Erwin McCutchen. She was survived by her sons Bill (Beverly) Tally of Scottsboro, AL and John B. (Natalie) Tally of Birmingham, AL; daughter Nancy Tally (Gary) Loper of Opelika, AL; grandchildren Bob Loper of New York, NY, Tally Shanley of Fishers, IN, John Tally of Birmingham, AL, Laura (Alex) Hobbs of Kansas City, MO, and Will (Samantha) Tally of Douglasville, GA; great-grandchild Caroline Shanley of West Lafayette, IN. Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro is in charge of arrangements for Ms. Tally. The funeral service is Monday, September 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Scottsboro with Rev. Micaiah Tanck officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Scottsboro.
