Robert Charles "Bob" Mantooth, Sr., 89 of Stevenson, AL, died November 20, 2014 at his home. Bob was the son of the late Roy and Dona Baker Mantooth born December 14, 1924 in Bridgeport, Alabama. Mr. Mantooth was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Virginia Ruth Steele Mantooth; daughter Mary Dicus; sisters: Elizabeth Pendergrass and Veta Stewart; and step-mother Elaine Holder Mantooth.
Survivors include his children: Bobby (Geraldine) Mantooth of Stevenson, Ann (Doug) Webster of Dutton, AL, Roy (Decarolus) Mantooth of Stevenson, David (Kim) Mantooth of South Pittsburg, TN; son-in-law Kenneth Dicus of Scottsboro, AL; 9 Grandchildren; 15 Great-Grandchildren; sister Sarah Beavers; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Friday 2-9 PM CT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 22, at 1 PM CT in the funeral home chapel officiated by Dennis Johnson. Interment will follow at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood, AL. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
