Brenda Gail Long's Obituary
Brenda Gail Long, 66, of Bridgeport, AL passed away on Sunday October 31, 2021 at Highlands Medical Center. Brenda was a 1973 graduate of Bridgeport High school. Out of High School, she began working at TVA as a First Responder. In the 80's, she later went to Fashion School in Atlanta, Georgia. After, Brenda began working as a CNA at North Jackson Nursing Home.
Brenda is survived by her sister Mary Vaughn (Dan); nieces, Amanda Vaughn Massey, Katy Elizabeth Blackwell; nephew, Richmond Orion Blackwell. She was preceded in death by her parents; Mr. W.O. Long and Mrs. Elizabeth Sampley Long, Sisters; Wanda Blackwell and Virginia Gilliam.
The family will receive friends on Thursday November 4, 2021 at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson from 11 AM until 2 PM. Funeral services will follow in the Chapel at Rudder Funeral Home Stevenson beginning at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Bridgeport, Alabama.
