Bruce Russell "Rusty" Dover, 44 of Stevenson, AL died May 30, 2008 at his home. He worked at RSC in Stevenson as a diesel mechanic and served in the U. S. Army.
"Rusty" was preceded in death by his parents James Bruce and Helen Joyce Russell Dover; grandmother Edith Russell and brother Donnie Grider.
He is survived by his son Riley Caleb Dover of Stevenson; former wife and best friend Teresa Gamble Dover of Stevenson; brothers and sisters: Stephen Randall Dover of Madison, AL, Roy Mark Grider of Scottsboro, AL, Betsy Laura Burnell of Scottsboro, AL, Melissa Joy (Brett) Haley of Bridgeport, AL; extended family members: Terry (Darlene) Grider, Margaret Arnold, Ron Grider, Jim (Bernice) Grider all of Bridgeport, AL, Sharon Grider Long of Stevenson, AL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday 5-9 PM CDT and 10 AM-2 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral will be Sunday, June 1, at 2 PM CDT at the funeral home chapel officiated by Bro.Anthony Saint. Interment will be at Potts Cemetery in Stevenson, AL. wwwrudderfuneralhomes.com
