Carol Jo Parsons Deutscher, 79 of Fackler, AL died March 30, 2013 at her home. Carol was the daughter of the late John Lee and Addie Blosser Parsons born August 12, 1933 in Edwhyte, West Virginia. Carol and her husband "Bob" owned and operated the Crow Mt. Orchard for many years.
Besides her parents, Carol was preceded in death by two sisters: Faye Hall and Jean Lloyd.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years Robert Lewis "Bob" Deutscher; daughters: Shirley (Irvin) Kanode of Lenoir, NC, Barbara (Chuck) Edson of LaPorts, IN; grandchildren: Matthew Wyse, Brett (Jennifer) Wyse, Jennifer (Mordicai) Knode; great-grandchildren: Brett Jr., Carley, and Mason Wyse; siblings: Paul Parsons, Robert Parsons, Vi Thurmer, John Parsons; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Monday 5-9 PM CST at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will be Tuesday, April 2, at 1 PM CST at the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Jimmy Bohannon followed by burial in Austell Cemetery in Fackler, AL. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com.
