Carolyn Thompson Mason, 71, of Stevenson, AL., passed away Tuesday January 18, 2022 in Athens, GA.
Visitation will be Thursday Jan. 20th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., and Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday January 21st both held at Rudder Funeral Home, Scottsboro, Alabama. Eulogy will be by Yvonne Mason Sewell. Interment will follow at New Prospect Cemetery, Swearengin, AL.
Mrs. Mason is survived by her children, Christopher George Mason (Kelly), Consuela Mason; grandchildren, Richard Jason Thomason (Randi), Brandy Michelle Highfield (John), Alice Samantha Pressley (Scott), David Gene Sorrow, Justin Daniel Sorrow (Robin), Gary Alexander Norks, Brittany Saye (Austin); 17-great grandchildren; 1- great great grandchild; Sisters, Mary Ann Thompson, Dorothy Faye Corbitt.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Gene Mason; parents, George and Susie Thompson; daughter Wynette Sorrow, and 11 siblings.
