Mrs Carolyn Mae Swaim, 83, of Scottsboro, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 26th from 5 - 7 pm, held at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro. She is survived by her three sons, Mike, Ron, a Read Obituary
Carolyn was a sweet, sweet lady. She kind of adopted me when I worked at Unclaimed Baggage as a freshman in college. She would sneak me gifts and food and always told me how proud she was of me. She was there for my wedding and has quilted me and my children many gifts. She quilted me a jewelry pouch that I take on every trip I go on and I think of her each time I use it. I am very sad to learn of her passing and send sincere condolences to her family.
I was so saddened to hear of Carolyn's passing. I got to know her after I retired in 2009. She was such a generous, gracious lady. When I first met her and found out she was a nurse, I immediately knew I would like her. She had a group of us to her house for lunch on several occasions and insisted on making all the dishes herself. She was a wonderful cook! The quilts she sewed and displayed in her home were stunning. My condolences to her family
