Charles W. Berry 58 of Scottsboro passed away on Friday August 5 at Huntsville Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Sunday at the Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro from
5 PM until 8 PM. Funeral services for Mr. Berry will be held on Monday August 8, at 1 PM
From the Scottsboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Dr. Roy Hall and Rev. Dorsey
Walker officiating burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Berry was the owner of Berry Construction Co. in Scottsboro, Charles was also a member
The Scottsboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and the Scottsboro Rotary Club.
Charles is survived by his wife Kathy Berry, Two sons and daughters-in-law Adam and his wife Beth
And Scott and his wife Emily all of Scottsboro; sister and brothers-in law Pat and Bobby Roy Johnson
Of Scottsboro, Russell and Judy Sampson of Scottsboro, and Robert and Ann Sampson of Dutton;
And his special buddy “HOSS” and several Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, and other realities
And many friends. Charles was preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Joyce Berry.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorials may be made the Scottsboro Cumberland
Church building fund or the Habitat for Humanity of Jackson County or a charity of choice.
Rudder Funeral Home of Scottsboro is assisting the family.
