Charles ("Chuck")'s Obituary
He was a graduate of Stevenson High School Class of 1956, served in the U.S. Air Force and retired as shift supervisor with a silicone manufacturing plant in Michigan.
Mr. Matthews was preceded in death by his parents Millard Fillmore "M.F." and Annie Pearl Davis Matthews of Stevenson, AL: his first wife Betty Ann Mathis Matthews of MI: his second wife Frances Smith Matthews of Henagar, AL: and infant brother James Phillip Matthews.
Chuck is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Eric and Carrie Matthews of MI; daughter Kim Golden of Hollywood; granddaughters: Olivia and Alexandria Matthews of MI; grandson Luke McGrady of Hollywood; sisters and spouses: Barbara & the late William D. Payne, Betty & the late Ted Cloud both of Bridgeport, AL; La-Vonne & Bill Haven of FL; Glenda & Bill Sanders of Scottsboro, AL; brothers and sister-in-law: Richard Matthews of Stevenson, Matt & Jennifer Matthews of LA; several nieces and nephews and friends.
