Charles David "Peahead" Daniel, Sr., 67 of Bridgeport, AL, died June 19, 2011 at The Bridge in South Pittsburg, TN. He had been an iron worker and also a commercial transfer truck driver. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran and member of the VFW.
Charles was the son of the late William Arthur and Mildred Seale Daniel born July 8, 1943 in Scottsboro, AL. Besides his parents, "Peahead" was preceded in death by his son Charles David Daniel, Jr.; brothers: Robert Guy, James Sonny, Billy Ray and Billy Jack Daniel.
Survivors include his children Anthony (Samantha) Daniel of Bridgeport, AL, Brandy (Rodney) Ward of South Pittsburg, TN; grandchildren: Caleb Daniel, Nicholas Ward, Kiley Ward; sisters: Evelyn (James) Hambrick of Stevenson, AL, Nancy (David) Nasan of Soddy Daisy, TN; sister-in-law Laura Daniel of Chattanooga, TN; aunt Helen Bunch of Bridgeport, AL.; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Monday 4-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. The funeral will be Tuesday, June 21, at 3:30 PM CDT at the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Bud Guess and Rev. Dennis Bunch. Interment will be at Price Cemetery in Hollywood, AL. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
