Mr. Charles Edward Dawson's Obituary
Charles Edward Dawson, age 84 of Bridgeport, passed away in his home on June 30th, 2022. Charles is survived by his daughters Mary Ann Guess, Sherry Marie Oliver, Rhonda Carol Dawson, Betty Rachel (Keith) Shutters, sisters Shirley (Ralph) Hodges, Martha Francis Hall, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ginnie Louise and Melvin Monroe “Pete” Dawson, sister Thelma Martin, brothers Johnny Monroe Dawson, James Dawson, Robert William Dawson, daughter Janie Renee Howard, and great grandsons Austin Grooms and William Coker III.
Visitation will be held July 1st, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and July 2nd, 2022 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Rudder Funeral Home of Stevenson.
Funeral Services will be held July 2nd, 2022 in the Chapel at Rudder Funeral Home of Stevenson beginning at 5:00 pm. Interment will follow at Saint Bonaventure Cemetery in Bridgeport, Alabama.
