Charles Jimmy Grider's Obituary
Charles Jimmy Grider, 82 of Bridgeview, IL formerly of Stevenson, AL, died July 25 in IL. He was the son of the late Roy and Emma Bullard Grider. Jim was a Stevenson High Graduate, had worked for General Motors and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
He was the Beloved husband of the late Joyce Ketel Grider,Loving father of Stella (Vernon) Bruce, Paula (the late Thomas) McDaniel, Mary Anne (DeWayne) Nichols, Annette (William) Vogt, Wanda (Bernard) Mayer and the late Joseph Suski; Dear grandfather of 6; Great-grandfather of 4. siblings: Mary (the late Wayne) Steele, Emma Jean (the late Wallace) Steele, the late Billy Grider, the late Johnny "Moon" Grider; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was a #1 Chicago Bears Fan, Roll Tide Fan.
The funeral service was held at Hann Funeral Home in Bridgeview, IL on July 29. A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, August 1, at 11 AM at Stevenson City Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
