Charles H. "Bo" Loyd's Obituary
Charles “Bo” Loyd, age 86 of Scottsboro, AL, passed away on August 19, 2015. Mr. Loyd is a graduate of Stevenson High School and a 1951 graduate of Auburn University. He was the owner-operator of Loyd’s Dairy and retired wood yard manager from Mead Paper Mill. Mr. Loyd is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann Loyd; son Charles (Cynthia Mason) Loyd; grandchildren Charles Macklyn Loyd and Chelsea Lynn Loyd; and brother Bill Jack (Mary) Loyd. Mr. Loyd is preceded in death by his parents C.C. and Esther Loyd; brother C.C. Loyd, II; sister Alexandria Jean Loyd; and daughter Esther Elizabeth Loyd. Visitation will be August 21 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro. The funeral service will be August 22 at 10:00 AM in the Rudder Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Alan Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at cedar Hill Cemetery.
