Charles Buford Smith II, 66 of Bridgeport, AL, died November 23, 2017 at his home. Charlie was the son of the late Charles Buford and Leona Joyce Hogwood Smith, born January 22, 1951 in South Pittsburg, TN. He had been a Bridgeport Police Department dispatcher and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter Heather (Jesse) Smith Grimes of Jasper, TN; grandchildren: Isabella and Jasper; sister Lynn (Ken) Guess of Bridgeport, AL; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be 12-3 PM Monday at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL followed by the Funeral Service beginning at 3 PM. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, TN. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
