Mr Charlie Ray Goolesby's Obituary
Charlie Ray Goolesby, age 64 of Scottsboro, died on Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN following an extended illness. Charlie Ray was retired from Jackson Paving Co where he was a track hoe operator until his retirement. The family will receive friends at the Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018 from 5 PM until 9 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018 in the Chapel of Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro, with Pastor Tim Renshaw officiating. Burial will follow in the Gant Cemetery in Scottsboro. Charlie Ray is survived by his children Selina Stevens, and Keith Ray and Natasha Goolesby; grandchildren, Timothy Ray Goolesby, Garron Steele, Starla Goolesby and Kara Steele; great-grandchildren, Ray Linn Goolesby, Zara Braziel, Skylar Goolesby and Gracie Michelle Steele; his sister, Gail Bradford; his brother, John C. (Big John ) Allen; nephews, Brad, Greg and Craig Bradford, and Jeff Allen.
