Raymond Christopher "Chris" Parker, 50 of the Wannville Community in Hollywood, Alabama, died September 8, 2013. Chris was the son of the late Raymond Ray Parker and Bettye Ann Edwards Mullins, born March 30, 1963 in Bridgeport, Alabama. He was a 1981 Stevenson High School Graduate. Mr. Parker worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse with Northeast Alabama Health Services.
Besides his father, Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents William Macklin and Lucy Cindy Chisenhall Edwards and special aunt Bernice "Bernie" Edwards Evans.
Survivors include his daughters: Crystal Ann Parker and fiance Jeff Powell, Courtney Abigail Parker and special friend Aaron Ferguson; mother and step-father Bettye and Buford Mullins all of Wannville; sister and brother-in-law Judy Ann and Clyde Kilgore; step-mother Jane Boring Parker all of Bridgeport, AL; step-sister and step-brother-in-law Lee Ann and Jesus Rodriguez of Chickamauga, GA; other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends 2-9 PM CDT Thursday and Friday at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, Alabama.
Mr. Parker will be cremated, as he requested, and there will be no formal funeral service. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com.
