Christopher Claude Gilley, 28 life-long resident of Bridgeport, AL died September 30, 2008 at his home. He was employed at Variform Corp. in Jasper, TN. and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Chris was preceded in death by his great-grandfather Harvey Abney.

He is survived by his father Claude William (Marjorie) Gilley, Jr. of Bridgeport; mother Donna Latresse Thomas (P.J.) Frizzell of Section, AL; fiancee Greta Nicole Hibbs of Sequatchie Mountain, TN; brothers: Patrick "P.J." (Amanda) Gilley of Bridgeport, Joshua (Chasity) McCanless of Stevenson, AL; grandmother Barbara Cooper of Bridgeport; grandfather Harold Cooper of Bridgeport, grandparents Claude and Mary Ellen Gilley, Sr. of Bridgeport; niece Emily Gilley; nephews: Lane McCanless, Christopher Sanders, Brett Sanders; other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday 5-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. The funeral will be Friday, October 3, at 3 PM CDT at the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Owen Durham followed by burial at St. Bonnie Venture Cemetery in Bridgeport.
