Clara Smith Kirk, 90 of Bridgeport, AL, passed away on August 1, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents Joe Ransom and Ruby Jones Smith; husband "T.J." Kirk;two sons: Richard and (Baby) Thomas Kirk; two brothers W.J. Smith and Howard Smith.
She is survived by one daughter Shelia (Tom) Everly of Phenix City, AL; siblings: Mary Lou (Don) Dupree, Lee (Lois) Smith both of Chattanooga, TN; sisters-in-law: Hazel Smith of Chattanooga, TN and Opal Smith of Scottsboro, AL; 6 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Special thanks to Dr. Mohan and the Staff of Cumberland Health and Rehab in Bridgeport, AL, where she made her home for the last seven years and also to Hospice of North Alabama.
The Family will receive friends at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson Tuesday 12-1:30 PM CDT. The Graveside Service will be Tuesday, August 2, at 2 PM CDT at the Price Cemetery in Hollywood, AL with Rev. J. B. Jones officiating. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com.
