Clarence Kirby "Boo" Walker, Sr., 67 of Bridgeport, AL, died May 8, 2013 in a traffic accident. He was born April 14, 1946 in Bridgeport, Alabama.
Mr. Walker was a first-term Bridgeport City Councilman and a former city police commissioner. "Boo" was retired from the Bridgeport City Street Department and from the Alabama National Guard. He was a member of South Pittsburg, TN Church of Christ.
Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his mother Annie Sue Walker Robinson and father David Hardric.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years Lina Nell Fennell Walker; children: Brenda (Anthony) Robinson of Bridgeport, AL, Eleanor (Rickey) Matthews of Chattanooga, TN, Cherry Moore, Norma Walker and Clarence Walker, Jr. all of Bridgeport; grandchildren: Ty Matthews, Dynasty and Natalie Moore, Shalaundra and Yalaundra Robinson, Lataz and Miasha Smith.
The wake will be Sunday, 6-8 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. The funeral service will be Monday, May 13, at 1 PM CDT at the First Baptist Church in Bridgeport, AL officiated by Bro. Lewis Powell. Military Honors and interment will be in the Rocky Springs Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
