Cleo Venable's Obituary
Mrs. Cleo Venable, age 80, had her Home Going on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at her home in Scottsboro. She was a loving and devoted wife to her husband, Bill Venable for 65 years. She worked alongside her husband in the ministry for 48 years. Besides her husband, she is also survived by her daughter, Deborah (Charles) George; sons, Randy (Donna) Venable, and Mark (Kim) Venable; grandchildren, Tasha (Greg) Adkins, Sammy Venable, Tabitha (Daniel) Stokes, Zachary Venable; brother, Glen Hastings; sisters, Brenda (Ben) Miller, Alice (Bill) Holder, Lucy (Walt) Willis, and Earlene Twining; as well as several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ollie and Mary Hastings; and brothers, Terry Quinton Hastings and Homer Hastings. Visitation for Mrs. Venable will be Monday, September 25, 2017 from 5-8pm at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro. The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 26 at 2pm in the funeral home chapel.
