Dale Gene Peckham, Jr., 61 of Stevenson, Alabama died August 30, 2014 at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Dale was born in Benton Harbor, Berrien County, Michigan December 15, 1952 to Dale Gene and Virginia May Gourley Peckham, Sr. Dale spent most of his life traveling from place to place before settling in Stevenson. He was kindhearted and willing to help others and was a member of Stevenson Church of Christ. Survivors include his church family, friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 2, 12-2 PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will begin immediately following at 2 PM officiated by Bro. Dale Andrews. Interment will be in Old Baptist (Bolivar) Cemetery in Stevenson, AL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Dale Peckham, Jr. to Rudder Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
