David Edward Skelton's Obituary
David Edward Skelton, age 77 of Scottsboro, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017 at his home. He is a former graduate of Scottsboro High School and Auburn School of Pharmacy, as well as the former owner of Skelton Pharmacy in Scottsboro. Mr. Skelton is survived by his wife, Kathleen; step-sons, Larry (Linda) Phillips, and Chuck (Kim) Phillips; brother, Robert Houston (Gwen) Skelton of Blue Ridge, GA; niece, Belinda Skelton; nephews, Rick Skelton and Mike Holden; cousins, Billy (Cathy) Cowley and Mary Cowley; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Lucille Skelton; and brother, Ronnie Lee Skelton. The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:30 pm on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro. The funeral service will begin at 3:30 pm in the funeral home chapel with Bro.
