David Lynn Wooden's Obituary
David Lynn Wooden age 77 of Stevenson passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Huntsville Hospital. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Rudder Funeral Home from 4-8:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 beginning at 2:00PM at Centennial Baptist Church (County Road 347, Stevenson, AL) with Bro. Joey Guess officiating and burial to follow in the Centennial Church Cemetery.
Lynn is survived by his wife, Louise Thomas Wooden; children, Sammy Wooden and Cheryl (Corey) Massey; grandchildren, Cody Lee Wooden, Carmen Wooden, J.D. Massey, Kayla Massey, Josh Wyatt; Sisters, Sheila West and Sandra Holland.
Lynn is preceded in death by:
Parents, Howard Thomas & Bernie Lee Moore Wooden
Siblings, Bertha Dixon, Louise Fox, Betty Gay, Sandy Harderman, Ray Wooden, Randy Wooden, J.E. Wooden.
Lynn served as a deacon in Centennial Baptist Church for many years.
There will also be visitation at the church on Saturday from 12:30-2:00
