Deborah Lynn McAllister, 62 of Huntsville, AL originally from Stevenson, AL, died November 9, 2016 at Cumberland Health and Rehabilitation. Deborah was the daughter of the late Winfred Lee and Sarah Mae Broyles McAllister born February 27, 1954 in Chattanooga, TN. She was a Stevenson High School Graduate Class of '74. She had worked at Boyd's Dairy Bar, Village Florist and as a receptionist at the box factory in Bridgeport, AL. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Stevenson.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Milton Sparkman.
Survivors include her sisters: Wanda M. (Hugh) Lyda of Flat Rock, AL, Shelia D. (Mack) Saylors of Stevenson; nieces: Sabrina Saylors and Hollie Saylors; nephew Kenny Lyda; 4 great-nieces and 3 great-nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 12, 10 AM to 2 PM CST at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson with the funeral service following at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Josh Posey and Bro. Wayne McAllister. Interment will be in Stevenson City Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
