Boyd McCrary, 76 of Stevenson, Alabama died June 6, 2010 at Huntsville Hospital. Delbert Boyd was the son of the late Jess Isaac and Mary Lee Rash McCrary born March 9, 1934 in the Little Coon Community of Stevenson, AL. He was a Stevenson High School Graduate Class of 1953. Boyd was a retired lineman operator from North Alabama Electric Co-op; a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church and owner of Aunt Bea's Restaurant.
Besides his parents, Boyd was preceded in death by his brother Foy McCrary.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Ida Beatrice "Bea" Summers McCrary; children: Lance McCrary, Andrew "Ryan" Summers both of Stevenson, Kassie Johnson of Arab, AL; granddaughter Hailey Smith; sister-in-law Jean McCrary of Stevenson; other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday 5-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral will be Wednesday, June 9, at 2 PM CDT at the funeral home chapel officiated by Bro. Bill Castleberry. Interment will be at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood, AL.
