Delores Elizabeth Stotts Garner, 77 of Stevenson, AL died January 25, 2010 at Huntsville Hospital. Delores was the daughter of Frank and Ida Hope Ante Stotts, born June 6, 1932 in Paxton, IL. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church and member of the Morning Glories Women's Circle.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents; first husband James Arthur Strayer; second husband Roy Green Garner; and son Horace R. Garner.
She is survived by her children: Ollie Marie (Ray) Thompson of Winchester, TN, Otis L. Garner of Winchester, TN, Steven W. (Theresa) Strayer of Hebron, IN, Kenneth L. (Sharon) Strayer of Griffith, IN, Lawrence E. Strayer of Stevenson, AL; 20 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; five sisters; and a host of other relatives.
Visitation will be Thursday, 2-9 PM CST at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral will be 11 AM CST at the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Phillip Day and Rev. Roy Venable. Interment is at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood, AL.
